Dr. Solanki graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in England in the year 2000. He completed his Masters degree while there, researching Repetitive Strain Injuries. His first posting was in a sports clinic where he became team doctor for a professional English soccer club (Northampton Town) and for Oxford County Cricket Club.
Since returning to Canada he has worked in family practice. He has taken further training in numerous diverse topics ranging from spinal decompression to the care of babies for colic, treating children and seniors for various injuries and the treatment of TMJ (jaw) conditions and headaches. He is also trained in the fitment of custom-made Orthotics.
In 2004 he became a team doctor for the American Le Mans and Grand Am motor-racing series’. He travels to various races and works with drivers and crew to optimize their performance. In private practice he truly enjoys interacting and helping patients on a daily basis and aiding in their recovery and the maintenance of good health and the prevention of future injuries. He often speaks on prevention of injuries in the local community.
In 2010 he became clinic director for Altona Physiotherapy and Chiropractic. He is an active member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Associations. When not working, he enjoys family time with his 2 young children, playing with his synths and drum machines and attempting to cook various exotic dishes in the kitchen.
